I tried reinstalling the sound card driver - that didn't work. I've been having no trouble with this in windows 10 since upgrading until today.

What happens is my laptop speakers work fine, I plug headphones in and they work fine, then I unplug the headphones and I don't get audio anymore - it used to seemlessly switch back to my laptop speakers.
